Ewes for Sale and Adoption

Occasionally we have older sheep (besides lambs) that we are putting up for sale or adoption for various reasons. We will profile each sheep here with their name, personality, age, price (or adoption fee), and reason why we are selling them. If you are interested in any or all of these ewes, please reach out to us immediately. There is no waitlist for older ewes, so we sell/adopt them on a first-come basis.

Shakura - Adoption fee $200

Shakura, born 2018. Shakura is a great attentive mom who gave us twins the last two years and could still be bred for a few more years most likely as she is still fairly young at only six years old. She is in great shape with no known health issues. She is not registered and originally from a flock in South Carolina. She is quite petite for a babydoll and very shy as well. We are adopting her out because she no longer fits in our breeding program.

Millie - Adoption fee $150

Mille, born 5/4/19. Millie is a registered ewe we are looking to retire from breeding this year. She is a shy girl with a long tail. We are retiring her from breeding because she has poor mothering instincts, but would make a great pet as she is still relatively young at only five years old.

Carrie - Adoption fee $0

Carrie, born 2018. Carrie is a very sweet girl with a health issue that makes it difficult for her to keep weight on - she is very skinny. She did lamb this year but must not be bred ever again as her body can't take it. She loves grain and treats but won't eat hay anymore. She liklely has a lump in her trachea or something similar that makes her spit out wads of cud, especially when eating grass and hay. She used to be very shy but loves coming right up to people for treats now and follows us around the pasture looking for handouts. She would be perfect somewhere where she can be spoiled rotten with lots of grain and attention, but because of her health issue, we are not asking for any adoption fee for her.

Margo - Adoption fee $150

Margo is the sweetest, friendliest sheep we have in our flock and we will be sad to see her go, but she's getting up in years and we think it's time she retire from breeding. She loves grain and will come right
