Nellie is a white registered ewe. She is triple-registered with BSSBA, BSRA, and OEBSSR. She was born in 2017 and is 8 years old. She is the oldest sheep in our flock (after we retired some of our older sheep last year), but she still gave birth to twins this year (Ginkgo and Gumtree), and has done a great job of nursing and caring for them. Nellie is also the grandmother of Aurora, another one of our adult sheep. Nellie has been the key to our best breeding line as she has a great form, excellent parasite resistance, and a great disposition. She is friendly and is a great mom.

Although Nellie lambed this year, having to support twins at her age has made her a bit skinny this year and we think it would be best if she goes to a home where she won't be bred any longer and can live the easy life of retirement somewhere.
